Welcome to Statie Photography! I’m Joshua Statie, a 26-year-old photographer based in Amsterdam but born in Miami and raised on the sun-soaked island of Bonaire. I specialise in events, corporate headshots, business-brand imagery, and event filmmaking, capturing moments across a wide range of professional occasions.

Photography found me early, sparked by curiosity with my mother’s camera. My first real break came photographing weddings—long, high-pressure days that trained me to anticipate moments before they appeared. Those years on the bridal aisle sharpened my eye and led me to a new stage: the fast energy of conferences, launches, and brand activations. That environment revealed my true niche.

Today my work is driven by a love for preserving the fleeting instants that define a story. Whether it is the adrenaline of a product reveal or the quiet confidence in a corporate portrait, I frame each scene with a vibrant yet sensitive approach.

Along the journey I have had the privilege of working with brands such as Adidas, Audi, Lenovo ect... These collaborations honed my technical craft and deepened my understanding of visual narrative, proving how a single image or a ten-second clip can reinforce a company’s identity and values.

I normally operate as a one-person creative, giving clients direct access to the person behind the lens. When a larger event demands multiple shooters or combined photo-video coverage, I tap into a trusted network of specialists and manage the entire crew myself, ensuring every angle is covered and every deliverable meets the same standard.
